Research & Development wing of CCI is recognised by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
R & D is manned by a dedicated team of highly qualified technical personnel which is working on continual upgradation and improvements in the areas of New products development & their applications, participates in various National & International seminars and workshops.

R & D members also represent in the technical committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards for making specification of cables and installation procedures and representation in CIGRE, Paris for development of EHV cable technology and related specification at International Proceedings
