TROPOTHEN-X ® XLPE Cables

XLPE insulated cables are offered with Copper/ Aluminium conductors with PVC sheath in screened/unscreened construction. XLPE cables have excellent thermal properties permitting higher operating temperature and lower dielectric loss, combined with higher short-circuit withstanding capacity and intermittent overload capacity besides low weight thus ensuring a high degree of safety and easy handling.

TROPOTHEN-X ® cables are thus ideal for applications in power plants, chemical, fertilizer and other industries where bulk transmission of energy is a prime requirement. Standard cables are available in a wide range of voltage grades between 1.1 and 33 kV as per IS 7098. In special cases, higher voltage grade upto 45KV can also be offered.
