Termination System for PILC
Cables
Termination system for PILC Cables up to 11 kV incorporates
special conductive breakout to prevent electrical discharges
in between cores at trifurcating point. The crutch is rendered
void free by filling with a mastic having excellent insulation
resistance, flow properties and thermal stability.
Termination systems for 33 kV screened cables is similar in
design to that of XLPE Cables, thereby facilitating interchangeability
between the kits with minor modifications
